I will dominate 'credible boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to promote the upcoming boxing match.

Ex two time world title holder Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami venue on December 19th.

Boxer's Mindset

"I will break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

Respectful Exchange

In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.

He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

Still, the novice continues to be one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, consistently making huge financial rewards.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.

"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.

Physical Disparity

As the two fighters engaged in the customary confrontation, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is truly happening.
